Repeating events, ages and counts

Set an event to repeat and it rolls over by itself: the moment this year's date passes, the countdown starts for next year.

Set a repeat

1. Open the event and tap Edit, or start a new one.
2. Tap Repeat and choose how often it comes back. Yearly suits birthdays and anniversaries.

Ages and counts

A yearly repeat can also show which one it is. Enter the year it began, and a birthday can read as someone turning 30, or an anniversary as its 10th. You will see the option when a yearly repeat is set.

Good to know

• A repeating event never moves to Past. It always points at the next occurrence.
• Deleting a repeating event removes the whole series.
• Alerts repeat with the event, so a birthday reminder set a week before fires every year without being set again.
