Share a countdown with family and friends
Send an invite link so someone can follow your countdown, or share it as a video.
A countdown is better with company. There are two ways to bring people in.
Share an invite link
- Open the event and tap the share button at the top.
- Choose Share Invite and send the link however you like: Messages, WhatsApp, email.
When someone opens your invite, the countdown appears in their own Event Countdown app and stays in step with yours: same date, same details. If they do not have the app yet, the link takes them to download it first, and the countdown appears after that.
They follow your countdown; they do not edit it. If you change the date, their copy updates too.
Share as a video
From the event's share button you can also create a countdown video: a short animated clip of the event and its remaining time, made for group chats and social media. Free videos carry a small watermark; Premium removes it. Full steps in Create a countdown video to share.
Who can see what
Sharing is entirely opt-in and per event. Nobody can browse your events, search for you, or see anything you have not explicitly sent them. An invite link shows the event you shared and nothing else, and your email address is never shown to followers.
